Lady Villains Off-Season Schedule.

The Lady Villains off-season schedule begins in June with summer practices and scrimmages.

Girls interested in participating in the Lady Villains off-season schedule will need to be enrolled at Bishop McGuinness for the 2013-14 school year (9th-12th grade).

Please note: all off-season activities in our program are voluntary on the participant's part.

The summer schedule is beginning to post below.

In order to participate, please check for in April for a registration form. The cost will be $200.00 to participate this summer.  A summer registration form can be obtained by contacting Coach Rizoti HERE.

June 8: Practice 8:30-10:30 - Note time change
June 10: Practice 5:00-7:00

June 12: Practice 5:00-7:00
June 14: at Forsyth Country Day (at 6:00)

June 17: at Southwestern Randolph (at 5:00)

June 20: at Draughn HS Team Camp (Summer JVs only)

Coach Robinson Named Assistant Coach For U16 USA Basketball Girls National Team!!!

Varsity Lady Villains' head coach Brian Robinson has been appointed to be an assistant coach for USA Basketball's U16 National Team.

The team recently completed tryouts in Colorado Springs and will return to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado June 9-16 for practice. 

The U16 National Team then will head to Cancun, Mexico to participate in the FIBA America Championships June 17-23.

USA vs. Brazil on June 19 at 6:00 PM*
USA vs. Argentina on June 20 at 6:00 PM*
USA vs. Costa Rica on June 21 at 2:00 PM*

Medal games on June 23 at TBA*

* = Cancun, Mexico, is in CDT, -1 hour from EDT.

Coach Robinson will miss the first day of our 12th annual basketball camp scheduled for June 24-27 as he will be traveling back from Mexico. 

12th Annual Lady Villains Basketball Camp Set For June 24-27!!!

The 12th Annual Lady Villains Basketball Camp is set for June 24-27 at Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School.

Camp runs from 5:00-7:00 PM each night.

The camp is for girls in (rising) 3rd-8th grades.

The costs are $40.00 for Catholic Feeder School participants, and $50.00 for Non-Catholic Feeder School participants.

Note: Coach Robinson will miss the first day of camp due to traveling back from Mexico with USA Basketball (see above post).

Alumni Game Coming December 21st!!!

The 2013-14 Varsity Lady Villains, in-conjunction with the Bishop McGuinness Alumni Association, will host an alumni game for everyone that was a member of the Bishop McGuinness Girls Basketball Program.  This includes our first teams coached by Sarah Kirby, now a member of our school's Hall-of-Fame, all the way through to our Class of 2013.

The event is set for Saturday, December 21, 2013 and will include a meet-and-greet, alumni game, prizes and a dinner.
